ooc: why yes…..
i’m sorry i just fine kida/helga really intriguingYes. I have some questions for you and you are not leaving this city until they are answered. Tell me, what did you believe destroying my city would help you to…
Kida looked the woman up and down, asessing her every word; she seemed sincere in what she was saying.
“I know what it is like to put all of your trust into one man; my father ruled this city for thousands od years. No one ever dared challenge his words, and for good reason.’ Kida sighed. “I believe in what you are telling me, but that does not change the suffering you inflicted upon my people. You must prove yourself to us; not only to me but to my people as well.”
“I never once believed that anything I say will automatically change your mind, and your opinion of me. The fact that you actually -listened- is more than I was expecting.”
Helga quirked an eyebrow,
“And how would I do that? I wouldn’t even know where to begin…”“You will begin by following me.” Kida motioned for the woman to step forward and walk with her. She seemed hesitant at first, but obeyed nonetheless. ‘You must understand our way of life.”
Helga fell into step beside Kida, she chewed softly on her lower lip, she wasn’t used to feeling so… humble.
“And I suppose you’re going to be the one teaching me?”
She sighed softly and looked at Kida.
“No,” Kida replied. How like outsiders it was to assume such a thing. As they walked in to a bright courtyard leading to a giant tower, Kida stopped, the woman nearly bumping into her. “You will learn much more from them.” Kida said as she pointed towards a glowing light in the sky.
